A Positive Story about Mainland. Yea I know it's been awhile!

Well lately I feel like anything I hear about mainland is bad.  We hear about land bots repeatedly stealing mis listed land and land not intended for them, and endless story's about spam lot advertisement dealers destroying the look and feel of mainland.  I've always been rather fond of mainland myself so I'm going to talk about a well needed GOOD story about mainland.

In between the crap land that other estate owners would like You to believe all mainland looks like lies a mainland paradise sim named Liome.  You wont find any ads in Liome, any clubs, any clutter, and bad builds.  When You land in Liome, You find Yourself surrounded by well spaced out classy beach homes leading down to shallow waters.  You see a huge waterfall surrounded by palm trees and dances to share with someone special. You can find areas throughout the sim to meditate and relax. Walk around a little and You'll even find hang gliders free for anyone to use and explore the sim with.  The entire sim feels relaxed and comfortable.  Basically Liome has the look and feel of a very well done estate sim.

Liome is owned by my close friend Raymond Figtree who has turned Liome into a mainland rental home resort.  Unlike most rental areas, Raymond has left the homes spaced out allowing an added level of privacy.  He has set a HUGE beautifully landscaped portions of the sim aside for community use by all of Liomes residents.  Home rentals are priced from $1-3000L a week.  Both Raymond and Liome are a unique part of our world and deserve some attention.  So the next time someone tells you that all mainland looks like crap (and someone will), Just send them to Liome.

Wow!

Thanks, Sarah. You are one in a billion! Your friendship is worth more than all the tier in SL.

Proof...

Proof yet again that it's not the land, it's what you do with it that counts. Nothing prevents an owner of mainland property, especially at the sim level, from managing the land and developing it in a responsible, pleasing manner. Nothing but the risk entailed in purchasing that land, and accepting tier fees that cannot be sustained for long unless one's venture also manages to at least cover the basic costs.

So very true

The lovliest SIM I have seen in a long time. :)

Cool.

Glad to see some of Raymond's projects reaching fruition. :-)

It's really really nice.

It's really really nice. It's well worth taking a look at. Even if Your not looking for a place to live, It's a really nice area to hang out in and relax or spend time with someone special in. The hang gliding is really fun. One of those activitys you can do that make you forget sl is a game. There really isn't enough mainland areas like this, and Like my friend Ethan Voss says, Areas that nice deserve to be supported.

Nice, nice, very nice.

I'm renting there. You have my endorsement.
