Occasional Teleports and Asset Server Drizzles

Yeah, the SecondLife weather has been cruddy with a tendency toward yellow snow - asset server slowdowns, failed teleports and more have left people stranded with no way to pay or leave. Some people are stating that their balances are still loading in their clients, etc.

Newbies are running amok with the inability to attach genitalia for their Sunday evening flights overhead. Seasoned users are IMing about how bad things are, and somewhere someone wonders, "If I camp and the asset server is acting funky, will I get paid?"

Toss that person a Linden, would ya?

Don't panic. Second Life will be buggy tomorrow, too. This too shall pass. Insert other platitudes. But be happy, because Linden Lab is on it - and on a Sunday night, they probably have the team that wanted to avoid the meetings on Monday anyway.

An unsubstantiated rumor that was not started by a Linden Lab representative did not claim that the alleged asset server gerbil is not on a hunger strike which was not intended to support his denounced family member who is not running the WSE service. No gerbils were available for comment, but we didn't ask.

(Hopefully by the time you figure out what the heck that means the stuff will be working again).
