Give me a master account!

So I decided tonight that I want my alt to be able to access my adult land. There are two ways for me to do this, one way is for me to go via aristotle and one way is to go via buying linden dollars.

I won't go the Aristotle route, I age verified Ciaran in concierge beta where details such as passport number were not mandatory, they fixed this so it now is mandatory but Aristotle were happy to age verify me without it in concierge beta. I'm not giving my passport number to a company who have no means of verifying it ( I asked the UK passport agency about this at the time and they told me Aristotle do not have access to this info), end of story, the information is clearly not relevant.

So I decide I'll buy some linden dollars, I'd seen something on XStreetSL that I wanted to buy anyway and decided to buy L$15,000 worth so I could make this purchase and then I hit the billing limits issue. How bloody annoying is this? I mean why do I have to go to all this bloody hassle to buy Linden dollars with an account that has all my other personal details already attached to it.

This account isn't new, it was created in September 2007 and fends for itself generally. Yes of course I can login to my other account and transfer the money over but why can't this account be linked to the information they already have on me?

I wouldn't mind if I had to submit a support ticket where I had to agree to allow my billing information be used for this account, sure I'd have to wait but I'd have done that by now if this were the case, it would have been painless. Instead I find myself wondering whether I'll ever bother making that XStreet purchase.

Linden Lab shouldn't need my information multiple times, just give me a master account, let me link my alts to it and be done with this nonsense. I'm already age verified, me the person behind the avatar, that this only works for Ciaran Laval is a nonsense in itself because it's not Ciaran Laval who Aristotle verified the age of and it's not Ciaran Laval whose banking information Linden Lab have on record, I hate to break it to you this way folks, but Ciaran Laval isn't real!

The person behind the avatar is real, well I think he is, we could get into theories that in the future umpteen worlds will actually be simulations and there's a chance we've got to that stage and I'm actually living in a simulation but that gets a bit complicated at gone midnight in the middle of a heatwave.

Just make the account process more streamlined. Over at the Alphaville Herald recently Nicholaz Berseford and Jessica Holyoke got into a discussion about Linden Lab finding ways to make money out of adult verification, Jessica feels that one way is to increase the need to place adverts in different categories such as PG or Mature, something I've complained about more than once whereas Nicholaz made an astute observation about putting payment info on file and said:

'Once you have the payment info there though, it lowers the bar considerably towards spending money inworld ... "heck, it's just a few US pennies for that thing and the money is just a click away." '

Absolutely and that's where I am now I wanted to spend money but Linden Lab won't let me. This must be frustrating for new residents too because as I point out, you're considered new in terms of spending from the first day you try to spend, not the first day you create your account, there must be thousands of potential dollars not spent because of this ten dollar limit. Why can't they let people buy more, I'm not talking thousands of US dollars and I understand the need for some checks and balances but how about offering upto USD$50 instead of USD$10? I'm sure people are put off and don't bother going any further because of this low limit.

However all this nonsense I'm facing would be undone if they'd just link my accounts together, they know who my accounts are so this shouldn't be that hard to do.
