In 2 weeks, I'll have been in SecondLife for a year. In that time I have seen a lot, read a lot, and even have written a lot about SecondLife and Virtual Worlds. In a way, this is a follow up on Reconnecting: Virtual Worlds and the Digital Divide.
Before that, what did I write about? I wrote about Internet Governance issues, dating back before WSIS. I wrote about Copyrights, Patents, Trademarks, the digital divide and many other things. A lot of it falls into a category of comparing inclusion and exclusion of community through technology on varying levels. I wrote about how categorizations are limiting, and how the Digital Divide, Sustainable Development, Globalization and The Real World all relate to the future of humanity. This is not to say that I am right about everything, but in all of this writing I must have gotten a few things right.
