More Mootchers
Not very long ago I did a blog titled "Is begging the next camping" when I was a bit frustrated with the amount of messages I have gotten lately where people who I do not know ask for money. At that time a girl was asking me for money to buy her some hair. A girl that I never had contact with prior to that im. I really try to be nice or fair to people, but these types of im's are really starting to bug me. It's to the point where if I honored every request I get like this, I'd be working in SL just for that purpose. To wait for im's and hand people money or items. Here's a few that really bugged me.

[10:18] Angellina : I have a personal question
[10:18] Sarah Nerd: ok
[10:18] Angellina : about land
[10:19] Angellina : I dont have enough money to buy a good size parcel...
[10:19] Sarah Nerd: Maybe rent?
[10:20] Angellina : no, wont work
[10:20] Angellina : the question was...
[10:20] Angellina : Do you mind to give me a parcel for free?
[10:20] Angellina : please?
[10:21] Sarah Nerd: Nothing personal but I can't afford to pay out of pocket for others.
Now I'm not really sure what she considered a good sized parcel, but an 8192 meter lot of mainland costs well over 100usd. And if she had meant estate land, well that would mean that I'd be paying tier to LL every month for her to live there. Anyone who manages estates knows how little of a profit you get on each estate if you can keep it fully rented, so a few free plots are your paying out of pocket to support people in sl who you don't even know like this girl. This one just bugged me a bit because she was asking for a pretty big handout from someone she didn't know. I would feel ashamed to ask someone I didn't know for something this large.
Today I got this one and I'm sharing it because it was more funny than anything...

So I guess now I'm involved in an sl murder situation. And like Brig pointed out to me on the SLU forums, if her "husband" wanted her to have a baby so badly he could pay for it himself. I'm just really getting tired with this new begging trend that keeps getting worse. I love helping people on my own terms. I just don't like being asked or obligated to do so.

Begging
Try going to Paris, you get asked for money 15 times a day. They prey on English speaking tourists. It gets so bad that by the end of the day when asked "Do you speak English" you have the sudden ability to speak fluent French.
As for the twits in SL, they are just scum suckers, I dont even bother with a response, I just hit the mute button.
I don't get to many of these.
But in the last 7 days I have got more invites to groups that from people I have never heard of. In the last 8 days i have got 39 invites to different groups. That my biggest problem right now.
I just didnt realize how many of the best clubs in SL are started by people that have only been in game for a month.
