Remember the gambling ban? Apparently, in backwoods Tao 1 (201,161,25) people didn't hear about it - particularly the members of the group Tao Heavy Industries. Thanks to a random tip, I dropped into a casino right under the noses of [w:Linden Lab].

Like most developing nations, it would seem that laws are easy to make - but aren't so easy to enforce. How can Linden Lab police such a large area? Maybe by tracking transactions, but even that is doubtful. I suppose that this really falls to the community.

How many other casinos are in operation? How many people are not complaining?

But then - maybe these machines are compliant with Linden Lab policy, and I'm completely in the wrong. I'm not sticking my money in these prims - but other people are.
